Review of Huge Mpegs
HugeMpegs has long been one of my favorite sites. They have been around for at least 5 years, and have amassed an impressive collection of movies. All the movies are in .mpg format, and some of the newere scenes also have .wmv versions available. The resolution is very high, and look good at full screen. There are about 2000 scenes I would say. You can download each in full length, or in shorter clips. There are about 20-30 thumbnails for each movie so it is easy to see what is in the scene before you download it. The site design is simple, but effective. They could do a better job of categorizing and organizing this large amount of videos, but at least they do have a search function that works very well. Overall, a solid site that allows you to literrally grab hundreds of gigs of movies that you can keep forever. That is a good deal.
